Notes
a. Note:   0.
I found in the 1860 census a possible relative (brother?) James Westlake in Lima, Livingston, NY aged 38 painter, born CT with wife Harriet, aged 33 born VT. They had a son Franklin age 1. Also in the household was Rhoda Sinclair age 62 and Lucinda Sinclair age 38 or 88. Also Fanny Wiggins age 36 and John B. Arnold 12.
Since Lucinda Sinclair and Harriet Westlake were both born in Vermont, I wonder if they were sisters and Rhoda Sinclair their mother (born MA).
Perhaps James was a brother to William Westlake.
Note:   There was a William Westlake in Ulster Co., next to Dutchess Co. in 184
