Notes
a. Continued:   Was Dorcus head of household and living with the Andrew Daily family in Boone, Boone, IL in 1850? The surname appeared to be Hicox per another researcher, so she would have to have remarried after 1847 when she married Simon or Lyman Coe. The first name was not clear on the census page, but could have started with the letter "D". This woman was born in NYS and was 67 in 1850.
If Dorcus was Ebenezer's first wife and the mother of his children, she had to have been born abt 1785 or shortly thereafter as his wife was was between 16 to under 26 at the time of the 1810 Sodus, Ontario County, NY census and they had at that time two children under 10.
b. Note:   uessing this Dorcus is the mother of Nathaniel. Perhaps Lyman Coe who Dorcus had married in 1847 died before 1850 as I cannot find him in the census.
Note:   The 1850 Census indicated Dorcus Carey instead of Dorcus Coe, but I am g
c. Continued:   This family had a first son Andrew, and there is strong circumstantial evidence that this is the correct family for the Andrew that married Mariah Carpenter. Andrew and Mariah were married in the same county where the will notice for Ebenezer Daily was published. Andrew had a son Roswell who could have been named after a brother Roswell. This marriage date was estimated based upon the birth date of Andrew S. Daily who married Mariah Carpenter.
d. Note:   I have seen Dorcus called Dorcas Carey in some databases.
