Note: ather's household and listed as a farmer. William Pike wrote in his journal of 1865 about Charlotte and his two granddaughters Catherine and Elizabeth who lived in Greene, NY. By process of elimination Charlotte Pike would have to have been married to Henry. In William Pike's administration papers it makes mention of his son Henry deceased and Henry's daughter Mary Elizabeth being entitled to Henry's portion of William's inheritance. Kate was a daughter by Charlotte's 2nd marriage to Eric Crossett, not a daughter of Henry Pike. Charlotte was the daughter of Charles Felix Barnett and Clarissa Abigail Whitmore of Green, Chenango County, New York.

Note: ughter Mary E. having been born in Wisconsin and having lived in Chenango Co., NY only 1 year. In William Pike's diary of 1853 he commented on receiving a letter from Henry in January. When the diary ended March 1853 he had commented on son William being sick in Wisconsin and sending him money to return home, but William had not mentioned any further problems with Henry. This would mean Henry would have died after March 1853, probably during that year or in the early part of 1854.
