Note: rts. In 1830 he apparently had a wife and 2 children. In the 1825 Colesville census he was listed 1-1-1. Mrs. Hanson told me that her grandfather Orville Pike had said Uncle Samuel was unmarried. There was a Samuel Pike in Hector, Tompkins NY in the 1850 census but he was listed as age 61, about 10 years too old to be our Samuel. There was also a Samuel Pike in Chenango Co. who likewise does not appear to be "our" Samuel.
