a. Continued:   Donald Sutherland came to America in 1901 and went directly to St. Louis. His wife Jane Sandison Sutherland and his children Tisy, George, James, Donald and Bunty followed to America in the fall of 1903. He was a baker for Robert Lyon at Leith. In St. Louis he worked in the Dozier Bakery until he started his own shop. Donald came to Vancouver, WA and started a shop in 1907. He retired from the bakery in 192? According to the interment records he died of a cerebral hemorrhage.
