Notes
a. Continued:   William Dana Perrine's daughter Mabel described her father as a justice of the peace, book lover, farmer and railroad man. Have picture of Iva with male taken by D. T. Nickle, Photographer, of Fremont, Indiana. Is this picture of William Dana Perrine?
b. Continued:   Tombstone in Knauss Cemetery, Kinderhook, MI has inscription for Fanny Smalley Perrine and William Dana Perrine.
c. Continued:   IGI notation reads "Perrin, William S. and Iva M. Slotenbur, 06 Aug 1882, Branch." Their marriage certificate lists his name as William D. Perrin age 22 born in New York and Iva M. Stotenbur age 18 born in New York. They were married by J. White, minister. Witnesses were her sister Ona Stotenbur and his brother C. R. Perrin both of Kinderhook. These two later married.
An index from Branch Co., MI (Coldwater MI Newspapers) lists William Perrine m. Miss Statenburg m. Aug 11, 1882.
The three children of William and Iva -- Mabel, Evert Dorain and Almond Dana -- were born at the farm of Dana Perrine in Kinderhook County, Michigan. The family was Methodist. There is no longer a town Kinderhook, just a gas station where it once was located.
There is a picture of children Mabel, Evert, and William Dana taken by D.T. McNickel, photographers of Fremont, Indiana approximately 1888. A picture of Iva with a male is mounted on the same type background as the picture of the children. Since Dana did not die until 1891 and she did not remarry until 1898, it is my assumption the male is William Dana Perrine.
