Notes
a. Continued:   On 26 August 1855 Fanny Smalley was appointed administrator of the estate of her brother William J. Smalley. He left no brothers or father, and his mother had renounced her right to administer the estate, thus his sister Fanny was appointed.
Several Fanny Smalley's have been found from New Jersey. Mary Smalley Latta referred to Fanny as Mrs. Leonard Farr. I investigated as to whether the Fanny who married Dana Perrine could have married a Leonard Farr before she married Dana Perrine who she married at age 31. Dana Perrine and Fanny Smalley named a son Charles. Isaac Sayre Smalley and Cornelia Parrot had a son Charles.
In 2004 was found on Ancestry a Leonard Farr with wife Fanny (surname unknown). This latter family was found in the 1860 Friendship, NY census with several children including a 6 month old male. Obviously the two Fanny's are different people. Leonard Farr was listed as being born both in Vermont and NH depending on which census and this Fanny in New York, rather than in New Jersey. The second daughter in the Ancestry database was Cornelia which could fit with this Fanny being the daughter of Isaac Sayre Smalley and Cornelia Parrott. The other children's names were Alice Martha, Austin, Adelbert and a male which is likely Sears. In 1870 Lincoln Twp., Caldwell, Missouri there are the following children listed: Cora L 19, Austin 17, Adelbert 15, Sears 12, Willie 8, Frederic 5 and Floyd 3/12. Leonard Farr was listed as age 45 from NH and Fanny as age 43 from NY.
Further research and a deed from Friendship now lends credence to the likelihood that Fanny SMALLEY who married Dana PERRINE was the daughter of Reuben Smalley and Rhoda Moore. Both Fanny Smalleys had the same grandparents.
Granddaughter Mabel Grace Perrine described in a notebook she put together for her son George that her grandmother Fanny Smalley was a school teacher.
b. Note:   nny, but she did not supply the name of Fanny's parents. Mabel spelled the surname Smally.
Note:   Mabel Perrine Sutherland provided the birth date for her grandmother Fa
c. Continued:   Fanny Smally was a school teacher. Her granddaughter Mabel Perrine Sutherland supplied death date of 13 April 1890. Same date indicated on material from Knauss Cemetery in Kinderhook. The death certificate indicated death 10 April 1890 at age 62 in Kinderhook, Branch Co., Michigan. The cause of death was listed as heart failure. New Jersey was listed for her place of birth. No other details were given.
d. Continued:   Mabel Sutherland recoded the marriage place for Fanny as Wellsville, Allegheny, PA. However, it appears more likely that it was Wellsville, Allegany, NY. It appears that Wirt was about 8 miles from Wellsville, NY. The Isaac Sayre Smalley lived by 1825 in Wirt, NY.
