 He is recorded as buying 75 acres on the west side of "Cole" River, 5 miles from the main 'forks'; one quarter mile above Angel's Mill 'seat'; accross was Lacy's canoe landing on the east side of Cole River from Daniel Angel. The price of the 75 acres was $20.00; purchased on June 5, 1838.
