b. Note:   Michael left his home in Rasinja, Yugoslavia (Croatia)and traveled to Antwerp, Belgium. On June 3, 1903 he sailed to America on the S.S. Pennland. He arrived in Philadelphia, PA on June 17, 1903 with $10.00 in his pocket. His destination was to an uncle Josef (Hancir) ? Johnstown, PA P.O. Box 214209.
 At the age of 63, legally changed his name from Michael Hlebar to Michae Klebar, on 12 JAN 1943. He changed his name because he wrote his H's that looked like K's. So to eliminate any errors he legally changed it to Klebar. He went under the name, Michael, since coming to this country. Real name was Majk Hlebar. He owned and operated a grocery store and lived above it. Before the grocery store he was a coal yard laborer and a tanner. He died at the University Hospital in Madison Wisconsin of lung cancer. He became a citizen of the United States of America on 16 Sept 1929. Rasinja is a settlement and an eponymous municipality in northern Croatia in the Koprivnica-Krizevci County, located halfway between Koprivnica and Ludbreg. Lat/Lon: 46.1833, 16.7000
