Note: In her latter years, suffered from Alzheimers. At the onset, this condition produced a family schism, unintentionally.
She had told her children that Louis Rinscheid (her brother) had done something HORRIBLE to her when she was young, and consequently they should shun him. He tried to talk to her about it, but she wouldn't talk to him. Eventually, Jeff Rinscheid (Lou's son) visited her and found out the awful truth: when she was about 7, Lou had thrown her socks out her window and then told their parents that *she* had done it. And she got a whoopin' because of it!
