My father ("married Solomon P. Hood" was written in)Betsy Rhodes
from Duplin County out from Mount Olive, 15 miles south from Goldsboro,
and there Six of we children. Emma the oldest I do not remember for she was
born and died before I was born.,and the next was Anna and she married John
Jinnett out from Goldsboro when I was ten years old. and they raised Ten
Children but, but they are all dead except four and one of them lives in
Goldsboro and the three girls who are living live out in the country.
