 Abraham Linder, son of John Linder, was born in North Carolina September 23,
 1803. he was the son of John and Jane (Wright) Linder. John and family moved
 to Spartenburg District, South Carolina, where Abraham was educated. Abraham
 was married ca 1822 in South Carolina to Itea Templeman (b. Feb 27, 1807, S.C.)
 Abraham was a farmer, and he and his wife remained in South Carolina from their
 marriage until 1844. In 1857 they moved to White county Arkansas. Itea died in
 White County in 1864. Abraham died there in 1874.
 Abraham and Itea Linder had twelve children. They were.
 John A. Linder b. July 18, 1823
 Calvin D. Linder b. July 1, 1825
 Elizabeth Ann Linder b. July 10, 1827
 Delilah E. Linder b. September 9, 1829
 James Templeman Linder b. April 17, 1832
 Lewis M. Linder b. Oct 24, 1834
 Austin A. Linder b. March 17, 1837
 Jefferson Pinkney Linder b. August 10, 1839
 Mary A. Linder b. October 6, 1841
 Arcena S. Linder b. March 21, 1844
 Virgil Taylor Linder b. June 3, 1848
 Martha C. Linder b. March 8, 1851
 Confederate Service Records show that two of these sons of Abraham and Itea
 were in the Civil War. Lewis M. Linder enlisted June 20, 1862 in Capt. Townsend's
 company, McRae's Regiment, Arkansas Infantry. He died reportly of measles,
 September 2, 1862. Austen A. Linder enlisted June 18, 1862 in Company "F".
 Glenn's Regiment, Arkansas Infantry. He died as a result of wounds received in
 battle at Helena, Arkansas July 4, 1863.
