East Longmeadow - Clarence E. Flint, 88 of 84 Meadow Road, formerly of Worcester, MA and New Brunswick, NJ, died Thursday night at home.
He leaves his wife, Doris E. (Shekleton) Flint, a son, Peter A. Flint of Bloomfield, CT; a sister Marjorie Nowel in Minesota; two grandchildren, three neices and a nephew. He was born in Manchester, NH, son of Austin W. Flint and Minie M. (Hutchinson) Flint and lived many years in Worcester, MA; 13 years in New Brunswick, NJ and 27 years in East Longmeadow, MA
He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School and attended Northeastern University.
Mr Flint was a chemist and office manager at the former U.S. Envelope Co. in Worcester, MA : Metuchen, NJ and Springfield, MA for many years retiring at age 65.
He was a member of Morning Star Lodge of Masons in Worcester.
Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
His hobies in addition to Gardening were doing crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles, braiding and hooking rugs and finishing furniture. He also had an interest in preparing special meals and baking a variety of Christmas cookies every holiday season.
