 Subject: Catherine Heard
Janet: I am working on genealogy for my father's side (Palmertree). We go back to Catherine Heard
 b. abt. 1778 in GA and d. bef. 1830 in GA. She married Jason Palmertree Sept. 21, 1799 in Greene Co. GA. She has to connect to some of your Heards posted in Greene Co. but I did not find her name as a child of any of the Heards.
 Jason and Catherine's children were:
Catherine Elizabeth b. 1800, Greene Co. GA d. July 18, 1871 Choctaw Co. MS m. Wm. Arnold
James b. abt. 1802 GA d. Abt. 1870 Choctaw CO. MS
Daniel Boone b. abt 1805 Ga d. bef. 1828 GA
Geo. Washington b. abt. 1807 GA d. bef. 1828 GA
 Wiley b. abt. 1809 GA d. bef. 1880 m. Elizabeth Muirhead
William b. abt. 1812 GA d. bef. 1860 Poplar Creek, Choctaw Co. MS. m. Martha Jane Patsy Muirhead
Mary b. abt. 1813 GA d. aft. 1850 Choctaw Co. MS m. Joseph Muirhead
 Margaret B. abt. 1816 GA
Ophelia b. abt. 1818 GA d. Aft. 1850 Choctaw Co. MS m. Dr. John Seymour
 Sarah b. abt 1820 GA
Do you have any of this in your data base? I would like to take the Palmertrees back a generation and I thought since I am not making any headway with that I would try Catherine. Any help you might can give will be deeply appreciated. Fran in TX
b. Note:   e as husband of Elizabeth heard Darden. Howeve, Susannah is also married to a Darden, 1st and George Crain 2nd. I suspect Susannah and Elizabeth are one and the same person. JWH, compiler
Note:   In Early Records, George Crain is named legatee of Stephen Heard's estat
