Note: Notes for Blessie Elfrieda Barker per Flavia Hodges, Redondo descendant: "I would like to correct the spelling of her first name - it is Blessie Elfrieda and, though I have no proof either, her son, John Marvin Akers still lives in California and states from his family, when Alexander B. Barker married Arcadia (Lopez) Rodondo, Blessie's name was changed by Mr. Barker. John did not know what her name had been previously, but I am sure it is the child, Amparo [Blessie], who was 6-7 months old at the time.
