Died, at Hazlewood, the residence of P. Carr, near Prarieville, Pike Co, Mo., on Thursday, the 18th of March, after a few hours illness, Thomas Walker Lewis, youngest son of the late Nicholas H. Lewis, formerly of Albemarle Co., helpless, as to require the care bestowed upon an infant, and yet no one ever heard him repine of his lot. A consistent member of the Protestant Episcopal Church, a patient bearer of his Master's cross, he has exchanged in a few brief moments, the troubles of life for quietness and assurance forever.
