  Anderson Lodge, No. 24, I.O.O.F.
  At a regular meeting, held on the 28th January, 1850, the following preamble and resolutions, relative to the death of Brother Robert P. Meriwether, were adopted. . .
  Resolved, That we deeply feel the loss that we have sustained in the recent death of our worthy Brother, Robert P. Meriwether, and as a mark of respect for his many virtues and memory while living, we wear the usual badge or mourning for the space of thirty days.
  Resolved, That in the sad bereavement which the family of our deceased Brother has experienced, we tender our deepest and heartfelt sympathies, and that a copy of this preamble and resolutions be forwarded to them. And also, one to the Georgia Telegraph, with a request to publish the same.
