Died in this town on the morning of the 25th inst., [Dec. 25, 1850], after a short illness, Charles H. Meriwether, printer. The deceased was the son of the late A. G. Meriwether, formerly one of the proprietors of the Argus published at this place. He was a young man of very good qualities, and left many sincere friends, who deeply mourn his early death. He had served his time at the printing office, and by his affability, kindness of disposition and general correct deportment, had endeared himself to the proprietors and his associates. ---Yeoman
