  Funeral services for George Merriwether, 48 years old, who died at his home here Friday afternoon following an attack of influenza, were held at the residence under the auspices of Lodge No. 282, F. and A.M. Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial at the Eminence Cemetery.
  Mr. Merriwether is survived by his widow and three small children.
