Note: N26200 Dallas Daily Times Herald (Dallas, Texas), 1 June 1934 TWO SISTERS' WILLS ARRIVE IN PROBATE COURT ON SAME DAY The wills of Sarah Louisa and Mary Ennis Meriwether, sisters, who died within a year of each other, were filed for probate Friday morning, listing property at $6,000 for probate purposes. Miss Mary Ennis Meriwether died June 14, 1933, leaving an estate valued at $2,000 to her sister, stipulating that if the sister died first, the money was to be divided equally between Louise M. Howard and Tullie Meriwether and her children. Sarah Louisa Meriwether died on March 2, 1934, leaving a will in favor of her sister for $2,000, with the provision in the event the sister died first, the estate was to be divided the same as stipulated in the will of Mary Ennis Meriwether. - June 1, 1934, Dallas Daily Times Herald, Sec. Meriwether, 86, Dies in Dallas Miss Mary Ennis Meriwether, 86, resident of Dallas for sixty years and a well-known church worker, died Wednesday at her home, 1717 Canton. Surviving are her sister, Miss Louisa Meriwether of Dallas; three nieces, Miss Hattie Meriwether of New York, Miss Louise M. Howard and Miss Sarah Meriwether of Dallas, and a nephew, George K. Meriwether of Dallas. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew's Cathedral of which she was a member. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
