  Departed this life on the 25th inst., at his residence near Lexington, in the County of Rockbridge, JOHN BOWYER, ESQ'R., in the 85th year of his age, who had for many years laboured under Epilepsy of the most agrivated (sic) form; and which in its ravaging influence and violence, fastens itself indiscriminately upon the most vital organ of the sufferer.
