David E. Douglas, Sr. of Hillman died December 1, 1991 at his residence.
He was born Aug. 23 (sic), 1926. A World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy, he retired from Fisher Body, Grand Blanc, MI, in 1989 following 40 years of service.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Mary) Hull of Vinton, IA; four sons, James (Debra) Douglas of Davison, MI, David (Delores) Douglas of Millington, MI, Randall (Dana) Douglas of Flint, MI, and William Douglas of Hillman; a brother, Theodore Douglas of Flint; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Green Funeral Home, Hillman, Thursday from noon until 9 p.m. The funeral will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday, with burial in Hillman-Rust Township Cemetery.
