  Death of Mrs. Glenn
 Mrs. Jane M. Glenn died on Tuesday, the 23d inst., at the advanced age of seventy-eight. This lady was mother of James L. Glenn, Esq., of the Northen Bank, and Richard Glenn, of Memphis, and Miss Mollie Glenn, of this city. She was a lady of unusual energy and character, and while she retained her health, exercised a marked influence in society and in the Presbyterian church, of which she was a member; but her powers of mind and body have been for some time impaired by wasting sickness, which has secluded her from all but immediate relatives.
