PATTESON DIES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS. ——— End Comes to Well-Known Kentucky Woman While on a Visit at Campbellsville. ——— Campbellsville, Ky Aug. 3.—[Special.]—Mrs. Ellen M. Patteson died last night at 8:40 o'clock after a short illness of stomach trouble at the home of Harry Edwards. Mrs. Patteson resided with her son-in-law, B. F. Cabbell, of Bowling Green, and had been visiting here a few weeks. The burial will be at Brookside cemetery, this city, tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock. Airs. Patteson was eighty-four years of age and was a woman held In the highest esteem by all who knew her. She leaves two children, Mrs. B. F. Cabbell and Miss Bettie M. Patteson, of Bowling Green, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death. She was the mother of the late Circuit Judge Charles Patteson.

Note: N15311 The Adair County News (Columbia, Kentucky), 7 Aug 1907, Wednesday DEAD AT EIGHTY FOUR YEARS ——— Mrs Ellen Patteson, one of the most beloved old ladies in Taylor county, died in Campbellsville last Friday night. She was eighty-four years old and was the mother of the late Circuit Judge Charles Patteson and grandmother of Mrs. Jo Coffey, Jr. of this place. Funeral services were held Saturday and the interment was in Brookside Cemetery. Mr and Mrs Coffey, this place, attended the last sad rites.
