Died on Monday morning, Dec. 21st, at his residence on Mt. Auburn, at 6 ? o'clock, Mr. James Hood Merriweather, merchant of this city in the 36th year of his age.
The friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral, from his late residence, on Wednesday, 23rd inst. , at 2 o'clock p.m. Carriages will be waiting at Mr. N. Merriweather's, on Broadway, between 4th and 5th sts., to proceed to Mt. Auburn, at 1 ? o'clock.
