Paul Neal Meriwether, 76 of Myrtle Beach died Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at National Health Care in Murrells Inlet. Paul was born January 25, 1938 in Elmira, NY. He was retired from IBM. He was a member of Church of the Resurrection, an avid golfer and a veteran of the US Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Towner Meriwether; two sons Robin (Sharon) Meriwether of Raleigh, NC and Scott (Brenda) Meriwether of Youngsville, NC; daughter Kirstin (Andy) Hicks of Louisburg, NC;, father, Wayne Thomas of Towanda, PA; sister, Paula Vogt of Towanda, PA; brother in law, James (Judith) Towner of Clarks Summit, PA. He is also survived by four nieces, Marissa Vogt, Vanessa (Kevin) Lenzmeir, Tara (Roger) Fethers, Kym (John) Cicero, one nephew, Toby (Delphine) Vogt, several aunts and cousins.
A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday September 9, 2014 at Church of the Resurrection, Surfside Beach. Officiating will be Father Ron Greiser.
