  Saturday morning, about 5 o'clock, John Merriwether, an old recluse who resided at Mooresville, a little town in Floyd County, four miles from New Albany, was found dead in his house.
  Merriwether, who was over seventy years of age, had lived alone for years in a house adjoining that of his son.
