  Obituary of William Henry Meriwether Who Dies at Ripe Old Age.
 William Henry Meriwether was born January 1, 1841, died December 22, 1922, age 81 years, 11 months and 22 days.
  He was united in marriage to Rebecca Jones September, 1865, who preceded him to the Great Beyond January 29, 1905. To this union were born nine children, four boys and five girls, three of these children have preceded him in death.
  He was married to Caroline Crandall in 1910, who still survives. He united with the Christian church when young and lived an exemplary life.
  He leaves his wife, three brothers, six children, Charles, Clarence and Dudley, Mrs. O.P. Hanger, Mrs. Ed Weathers, and Mrs. Ira E. Toney; eleven grandchildren and six great grand children.
  Funeral Services were conducted at Marengo and interment was in Marengo cemetery.
