  MISS MARY GLAM DEAD.
The End Came at 2 O'clock This Morning.
  FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS.
One of Clarksville's Oldest Citizens Passes to Her Reward, Surrounded by Members of a Devoted Family.
The community was not unprepared for the announcement which reached it early this morning of the death of Miss Mary Glenn, sister of Mr. Jas L. Glenn. The end came at 2 o'clock this morning, in the presence of the family who has ministered so devotedly to her and the hours are for suffering. Mrs. Glenn was taken ill some three months ago, and from the beginning her decline was marked, her physicians holding out but little hope of her recovery. The fatal nature of her illness was known, and the family accordingly were prepared for the worse.
Mrs. Glenn had been a resident of Clarksville for a great many years, coming here from Elkton, Ky., where she was born seventy-one years ago, having practically lived here the whole of her life. She was devoted to those of her brother's household, in whose home it was ever her pleasure to feel that she was appreciated for sterling work. Her character was steadfast and strong, which you know faltering, and her life is exerted an influence which will be felt long after the remains are laid to rest.
The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at the Presbyterian Church, her pastor, Dr. Lupton, officiating. The interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

The Funeral of Miss Mary Glenn.
The funeral of Mrs. Mary Glenn, from the family residence, at 10 o'clock this morning was attended by a large number of friends. Services, conducted by Dr. Lupton, were brief and simple, consisting first of a song, "Asleep in Jesus," followed by a reading of the 15th chapter of First Corinthians. This was followed by a feeling prayer by Rev. A. U. Boone,. Then came the march to the cemetery. There additional songs were rendered, followed by prayer by Dr. Lupton, after which came the benediction by Mr. Boone. The floral tokens were numerous and beautiful.
