  Died, the 4th of October, at Cloverfields, the residence of her mother, Mrs. Francis K. Nelson, Mrs. Mary Walker Randolph, wife of Maj. T. J. Randolph of Albemarle, and only daughter of the late Dr. Francis Meriwether.
  This sweet lady, after many years of ill health has been taken at an early age from her family and friends, who deeply mourn for her. The singular purity and guilelessness of her character, her many Christian virtues and unselfish and loving disposition made her tenderly loved by all who knew her. Those who knew her best loved her most.
