  Uncle Davy Meriwether Dead
 Mr. David Meriwether, Sr., an old and highly respected citizen of this city, [Frankfort, Ky.], died yesterday afternoon at 1 1/2 o'clock after a brief illness. He was a printer by trade, and for many years was an employee of the old Commonwealth office, but for the past thirty years has been proprietor of the Meriwether Hotel on Broadway. He was well known throughout the State, and no man had a higher reputation for honesty and integrity.
