  LINCOLN—Mrs. Linda Emma Meriwether, 79, of Rock Island, died t 6:45 p.m. Thursday at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. The body, taken to Holland and Berry Funeral Home, will be removed to Rock Island for funeral and burial.
  Mrs. Meriwether had been visiting with her sister, Mrs. Eva Rhoads in Lincoln when she became ill.
  Besides Mrs. Rhoads, survivors are two sons, Robert L. Meriwether of Des Moines, Iowa and James O. Meriwether of Hopkins, Minn.
