Note: N5720 The Associated Press Death of Two Brings Toll To 100 Kentucky State Police have reported the death of two elderly Covington men in separate accidents, bring the state's highway toll to 100 for the year. Authorities identified the victims as Granville Steele, 71, and Clarence Meriwether, 80. Steel, a pedestrian, was killed Wednesday. Meriwether died Monday of injuries suffered Saturday when his car went off Kentucky 30 in Breathitt County.

Visitation, from 4-9 p.m. today, burial, in the Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Meriwether, died Monday in a hospital at Hazard, of injuries he received in an automobile accident in that community Saturday. He is survived by his wife, Jane; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Keeton and Mrs. Lorena Hall, Covington and two sons, Stanley, Parkersburg, W. Va., and Clarence Meriwether Jr., Newport.
