  Meriwether
 Mrs. Laura Learned Meriwether, 90, passed away Thursday night at the Good Samaritan Home, where she had made her home for four years.
  She as born July 10, 1878, in DuBois County, Ind., and came to Gage County in 1909. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Beatrice.
  Surviving her are two sons, Ashley Meriwether of Ralston and Howard Meriwether of Denver, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Daisy Capps, Hastings, Mrs. Merle (Maye) Carpenter, Virginia, and Mrs. Robert (Bonnie) Malsted, Beatrice; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Flenner, Kissimmee, Fla.; half - brothers, Hammond Hinkle, Charlie Hinkle, both of Indiana; 15 grand children, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Harman Mortuary Chapel with Elder Clarence M. Philpott officiating. Burial will be in the Blue Springs Cemetery. The body will lie in state one. hour before service.
  A memorial has been established to the Seventh Day Adventist Church with Harman Mortuary in charge.
