  Allendale, Jan. 26—Dr. S.G. Meriwether died at his home at Meriwether Friday, January 22, in the 88th year of his age and was buried Saturday with Masonic honors in the Meriwether cemetery at Clark Hill.
  He leaves one son, J.G. Meriwether, of this place and one daughter, Mrs. F.L. Middleton of Meriwether, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
