Note: As published in The Enid Daily News. George W. Fredregill Services for George W. Fredregill, 77, of 1609 S. 4th, who died early Saturday, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Russell officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Born at Bison and raised near Dover, he later moved to Denver, Colo., where he married Leona B. Brown in 1929. They returned to the Dover area, where he farmed for several years. They came to Enid in 1956 and he was retired from Enid State School, where he worked for 10 years. He was a member of the Liberty Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Leona; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Langley, Guthrie, and Mrs. Hollis Burner, Hennessey; one son, Charles L., Enid; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Hoff, Cypress, Calif., and Mrs Leo Kleinschmitz, Golden, Colo. Parts of a letter from Cora Louisa dating Mar 28, 1984 "Did anyone ever tell you your Grandpa George was a premature baby, weighed only about 2 1/2 pounds, wasn't dressed for 6 weeks, carried around on a pillow, bathed in oil.
