Their children were Michael Legrand Sr, John, William III, Isaac, Mary Louise, Hughley, Frances S, Nancy, Jemiriah, Sarah, Robert, Richmond Mack, Elizabeth, Thomas and Jacob Solon Shepherd. At the time of his death he would have been considered a wealthy man, owning land, a mill, a working plantation and money in the bank.
