Information from Bob Dunfield. !2004: Info from Pam Dunfield wife of Bill Dunfield, pbdunfield@@hotmail.com !26 Feb 1894: Death of Mrs. Mary Dolan, aged sixty-nine years, eleven months and ten days, died Monday night at 11:30 o'clock at her home, No 1128, Exchange Street, from the effects of Lagrippe and heart trouble, after a severe illness of five weeks duration. Her maiden name was Killeen and she was born in Roscommon, Ireland, where she grew to womanhood and was married to Thomas Dolan, who died at his home in this city February 2, 1892. Mr. and Mrs. Dolan left their native land in 1852, came to the United States and located in Rhode Island, but in 1854 they came to Iowa and were continuous residents of Keokuk from that time until death called them hence. Deceased is survived by four sons, P. E. of Denver Col., John, Thomas, and Bernard A. all of this city; and also by two brothers and three sisters, John and Thed. Killeen , of New Liberty Ia. Mrs. John Scott, of St. Louis, Mrs, George B. Cook, of Joliet, Ill, and Miss Kate Killeen of New Liberty, Ia. All the relatives mentioned will be present at the funeral, which will take place from St. Peter's church, of which deceased was a conscientious member, Thursday morning at 9 o'clock.
