Note: N116 !"Margaret Muse Hartley born Nov 24, 1821 near Goddard's Church, Fleming Co. Kentucky. She married William Hartley. She perhaps was a daughter of the second wife Mary Frances as her grand daughter Nannie Hartley of Enid Oklahoma says that her grandmother Margaret Muse Hartley named her eldest daughter Mary Frances and this daughter was Mary Frances Hartley Carrico who died in Jan of 1930. Margaret Muse Hartley claimed to be a first cousin of Nancy Ann Conrad Ham in which case Mrs Margaret Muse Hartley's mother would have to be a Miss Conrad so Margaret Muse Hartley must have been the daughter of James Muse and his first wife Sarah Conrad or is she were the daughter of the second wife Mary Frances in that case, Mary Frances Muse must have been Mary Frances Conrad before she married James Muse. Miss Nannie Hartley of Enid Okla. also says that her grandmother Mrs. Margaret Muse Hartley had a step sister Betsy Muse Plummer and she and Mary Margaret Ham say that the father's name was James Muse." Written, by Elizabeth E. Tassey, in the Ham Manuscript. !Birthdate from Muse Family Bible.
