  !24 Apr 1910: Mrs. Sarah Silver was born in Herefordshire, England, May 17, 1825. She came to America when quite young and settled in Illinois, later coming to Nebraska, and was one of the first settlers in Seward county. Mrs. Silver was married twice. February 18, 1845, she was united in marriage to James Roberts. To them were born six children, three dying when quite young. Henry, of Buda, Ill., Mrs. J. C. Fairbrother of Staplehurst, Neb. and Mrs. G. W. Nelson of Montrose, Colorado, are living. Mr. Roberts died April 24, 1898. Mrs. Robert's marriage to Richard Silver was solemnized at College View, March 28, 1903. Mr. Silver died during 1906. Mrs. Silver died on Sunday, April 24, 1910, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fairbrother, about eight miles northwest of Seward, where funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, Rev.
