Notes
a. Note:   N92 !My mother knows a lot she spent the day telling me so many things about your grandparents. She is trying to get a picture of your grandmother that she wants to send to you but it might take a while to get it. She remembers that your grandmother died in her 30's from a gall bladder problem. They tried to take her to the hospital but they didn't make it in time and she died. She was sick for a while before she died and they would go to visit her and she was always laying down. She had a traumatic love story. She had fallen in love with one man (latin) and they had made arrangements for him to come to ask for her hand from her parents and In those days when the fellow came to ask for your hand you had to hide and not be seen til after they left. But when he got there her older sister was flirting with him and I guess they fell in love with each other so when it came to the time when he told who he wanted he asked for the sister instead of your grandmother. She was so upset that she ran off and eloped with your grandfather Hamm. These are just a few things that we talked about yesterday I will see what else I can find out. And let you know. You need to send me your address so we can send the picture when we are able to get it. Info from Gail Salazar, gailsalazardesigns@@msn.com, 2002.
