Note:   BIRTH DISCREPANCY: Various records indicate she was born on June 16th, but there is a discrepancy on the year of her birth: her North Carolina Death Certificate states 1871; Social Security Death Index states 1875; North Carolina Birth Record states 1876; and her headstone states it was in 1876. I'm inclined to believe she was born in 1876.
