Note: BIOGRAPHY: Roger's birth father was Milton Rose (of Russian descent) who died in 1945 during World War II in Okinawa, Japan, and is buried at the National Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii. After the death of Roger's father, his mother Jeanette then was remarried to Mr. I. Stephen Brent, who then adopted Roger, changing his name to Roger Irwin Brent. Roger's occupation was as an attorney, specializing in bankruptcy, divorce, and estate planning. He received his law degree from Southwestern University in 1974. His hobbies were varied throughout his life including photography, motorcycling, science fiction, technology, astronomy, sailing and boating. But he was most passionate about music and was a very talented and accomplished pianist. His love of music led him to create his own classical music compositions, taking them so far as to record them utilizing state-of-the-art recording equipment, complete with full orchestral backgrounds that he would create in his home recording studio. Roger was a kind and loving man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He died at the age of 62 after battling cancer. He is survived by his wife, his mother, his three children from prior marriages, and seven grandchildren.
