Note: Vol 3, page 432 Holme County Recorders Office Deed Records Joel Tuttle and his wife Sally signed over 50 acres off the EAST end of lot 33 in the 4th qtr of the 9th Twp in the 9th range to daughter Hannah G Harris on Dec 29th 1831. Witnesses were Bishop Tuttle and Levi L Butler. The deed was presented for recording exactly one year later and listed the land as being transferred by Dr. Joel Tuttle and his wife Sarah. On Dec 29, 1832, Joel and Sarah Tuttle sold land to their daughter Hannah's husband, David Harris. For twenty dollars, he bought the land described as fifty acres off the WEST end of lot 33 in the 4th qtr of the 9th Twp in the 9th range.
