  After the death of Joseph Robblee in 1828, land left to him by his father, John, was settled in 1832. The portion bequeathed to his brother, Thomas, was sold to a William Tuttle and Thomas held the mortgage. In his will of 1849, Thomas, leaves the matter to be settled by his sons. If Wm. Tuttle clears the mortgage, he is to be given clear title. No interest or payments had been made up to the writing of Thomas' will.
