 Recd for record this 12th day of November A.D. 1831 at 12 O?clock noon Attest. R.S. Rice Register To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know Ye that we Joel Tuttle and Cynthia Tuttle his wife of the town of Pekin Wayne County in the Territory of Michigan for the consideration of Seven hundred dollars lawful money of the United States received to our full satisfaction of DURIN H. TUTTLE do give grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said Durin H. Tuttle and to his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of land situated in the Territory of Michigan Being the South East quarter of Section five in Township two South of Range Ten East being the same conveyed by Patent from the U.S. to ICHABOD TUTTLE dated the first day of October 1829 and subsequently conveyed by deed to him by Ichabod C. Tuttle and Maria his wife which deed bears date the Sixteenth day of November A.D. 1830; containing one hundred and sixty acres. To Have and to Hold the above granted and bargained premises together with the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Durin H. Tuttle and to his heirs and assigns forever, to them and their own proper use and behoof. And also I the said Joel Tuttle as for myself my heirs, executors and administrators, covenant with the said Durin H. Tuttle his heirs and assigns that at & until the ensealing of these presents, I am well seized of the premises as of a good indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as above written, and that the same is free from all incumbrances whatsoever, and further I the said Joel Tuttle do by these presents bind myself and heirs forever to Warrant and Defend the above granted and bargained premises to him the said Durin H. Tuttle his heirs and assigns against all legal claims and demands whatsoever.

Tuttle his wife signers and sealer of the within deed and acknowledged this to be their signing and sealing and that it was their free voluntary act and for the purposes therein expressed and the said Cynthia Ursula Tuttle having by me examined separate and apart from her said husband acknowledged she executed said deed without fear or coercion of her said husband.  Durin H. Tuttle & Wife to Thomas M. Ladd, 1831, Pekin, Wayne County, MI Recd for record this 16Th day of November A.D. 1831 at 11 O?clock A.M. Attest. R.S. Rice register To all People to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that we Durin H. Tuttle and Olive Tuttle his wife of Sandusky, Huron County and State of Ohio, for consideration of Four hundred dollars lawful money of us received to our full satisfaction, of Thomas M. Ladd of the City of Detroit in the Territory of Michigan do give grant, bargain, sell and confirm unto the said Thomas M. Ladd a certain tract of land situated in the territory of Michigan, Pekin Township in Wayne County being the west half of the South East quarter of Section five in Township two South of Range ten East being the same occupied formerly by Daniel Tuttle (now deceased) containing eighty acres. The division line between the west and east half of said section to commence at a point on the north side or line of said qtr section one half the distance from the west line to the east line of the same and running southerly parallel with the east and west line of said section to the south line of the same so as to divide the qtr of section thro the center. To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the privileges and appurtenances thereof unto him the said Thomas M. Ladd and to his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper uses and behoof. And also I the said Durin H. Tuttle for myself any heirs, executors and administrators, covenant with the said Thomas M. Ladd and with his heirs and assigns that at and until the ensealing of these presents. I am well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form above written and that the same is free from all incumbrances[sic] whatsoever. And furthermore I the said Durin H. Tuttle do by these presents bind myself and my heirs forever to warrant and defend the above granted premises to the said Thomas M. Ladd and to his heirs and assigns against all claims and demands whatsoever In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hand and seal the 16th day of November A.D. 1831 signed Durin H. Tuttle Olive Tuttle Signed, Sealed & Delivered In presence of James Cogswell John Beatty State of Ohio Huron County ? November 16th 1831 personally appeared Durin H. Tuttle who is well known to be the signer and sealer of the foregoing instrument and acknowledged the same to be his free act and deed before me John Beatty one of the Justices of the peace in aforsaid [sic] Huron County State of Ohio, Huron County ?November 16 1831 Personally appeared Olive Tuttle who is well known to me to be the signer sealer of the foregoing instrument and the contents of the said instrument being by ?made known to her and being by me examined separate and apart from her husband did on such examination declare that she voluntarily and of her own free will and accord and without fear or coercion of her said husband did sign & seal the said instrument and do now acknowledge the signing sealing thereof before me. Tuttle to Enoch Tuttle, 1841, Pekin, Wayne County, MI Recd for Record this 6th day of August A.D. 1841 at 10 o?clock a.m. To all people to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that we Durin H. Tuttle and Olive Tuttle his wife for the consideration of four hundred dollars received to our full satisfaction of Enoch Tuttle do give, grant, bargain, sell and confirm unto the said Enoch Tuttle and to his heirs Executors, administrators and assigns a certain tract of land situated in the Territory of Michigan in the township of Pekin Wayne County being the East half of the south East quarter of Section five in township two south of range ten east containing eighty acres and known as the Tuttle farm now in the possession of Enoch Tuttle and being the east half of said ? section patented by the United States to Ichabod C. Tuttle assignee of Robert Abbott and dated first October 1829 to have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Enoch Tuttle and to his heirs and assigns forever to them and their own proper use need behoof and also I the said Durin H. Tuttle do for myself heirs and assigns covenant with the said Enoch Tuttle his heirs and assigns that at and until the ensealing of these presents I am will seized of the premises as a good Indefeasible Estate and have good right to sell the same in manner and form as above written and that the same is free from all encumbrances whatsoever and I further bind myself my heirs and assigns to warrant and defend the same against all legal claims and demands whatsoever. In witness where of we have hereunto set our hand and seals this 6th day of January A.D. 1832 Durin H. Tuttle Olive Tuttle signed in presence of Louisa G. Higgins John Beatty State of Ohio Huron County Portland Township January 20th 1832 personally appeared Durin H. Tuttle who is well known to me from personal knowledge to be the person who he represents himself to be and the signer and sealer of the foregoing instrument and acknowledged same to be his free act and deed also personally appeared Olive Tuttle the wife of the said Durin H. Tuttle who is well known to me from personal knowledge to be the person who she represents herself to be and the signor and sealer of the foregoing instrument and the contents of the said instrument being by me made known to her and being by me examined separate and apart from her said husband did on such examination declare that she voluntarily and of her own free will and accord and without fear or coercion of her said husband did sign and seal the said instrument and do now acknowledge the signing and sealing thereof before me. John Beatty one of the justice of the peace and for the said county of Huron, Ohio The State of Ohio Huron County I Prudden Alling clerk of the Court of Common Please [sic] in and for said County of Huron do certify that John Beatty, Esq. was at the time of taking the above acknowledgement to wit January 20, 1832 a lawful Justice of the peace in and for said County duly authorized by the laws of Ohio to take the acknowledgement of deed and other instruments of writing of said Beatty & believe the foregoing signature purporting to be his is genuine.
