 Recd for record this 12th day of November A.D. 1831 at 12 O?clock noon Attest. R.S. Rice Register To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know Ye that we Joel Tuttle and Cynthia Tuttle his wife of the town of Pekin Wayne County in the Territory of Michigan for the consideration of Seven hundred dollars lawful money of the United States received to our full satisfaction of DURIN H. TUTTLE do give grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said Durin H. Tuttle and to his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of land situated in the Territory of Michigan Being the South East quarter of Section five in Township two South of Range Ten East being the same conveyed by Patent from the U.S. to ICHABOD TUTTLE dated the first day of October 1829 and subsequently conveyed by deed to him by Ichabod C. Tuttle and Maria his wife which deed bears date the Sixteenth day of November A.D. 1830; containing one hundred and sixty acres. To Have and to Hold the above granted and bargained premises together with the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Durin H. Tuttle and to his heirs and assigns forever, to them and their own proper use and behoof. And also I the said Joel Tuttle as for myself my heirs, executors and administrators, covenant with the said Durin H. Tuttle his heirs and assigns that at & until the ensealing of these presents, I am well seized of the premises as of a good indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as above written, and that the same is free from all incumbrances whatsoever, and further I the said Joel Tuttle do by these presents bind myself and heirs forever to Warrant and Defend the above granted and bargained premises to him the said Durin H. Tuttle his heirs and assigns against all legal claims and demands whatsoever.
