 "James Hawley Tuttle b. 27 Jul 1824 in Salisbury; an able and prominent clergyman of the Universalist denomination; ordained 1844; he was pastor of the Soc. at Richfield Springs, NY three years; of the Soc. in Fulton, NY five years; of the Soc. in Rochester, NY six years, and of the Soc. in Chicago seven years; is now (1882) pastor of the Soc. in Minneapolis, Minn., where he has been settled 16 years; D. D., Buchtel Col., O. He m. Harriet Merriman b. in Conn.; removed when young to NY State and d. in Dresden, Saxony, whither she had gone with her younger son for the benefit of her health 10 Jan 1873; her remains were brought back and buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Chicago (Cook County), IL.
