  At a court of probate holden at Woodbury March 1st A.D. 1799
 Ephraim Tuttle and Aron Tuttle who are executors of the last will & testament of Ezekiel Tuttle late of Woodbury [did] appeared in court and exhibited sd will ??? to this court to have the sd will approved which will was proved & approved & accepted to be recorded. The widow of sd decd who was named as executrix in sd will signified to this court her refusal of sd ??? (sufficient bond being given by the executors) six months being allowed for the executors to exhibit their claims agt sd estate & twelve months allowed for the settlement of the same.
  ?. Preston Judge Ezekiel Tuttle's Will In the name of God amen:
 I Ezekiel Tuttle of Woodbury in the County of Litchfield and State of Connecticut being of perfect mind & memory (Thanks be given to God therefor) do make this my Last Will & Testament
 and first of all I give & recommend my soul to God who gave it & my body to the earth to be decently buried in a Christian manner & as to what worldly estate it hath pleased God to bless me with I give devise & dispose of the same in the following manner viz
  Imprimis I give onto my beloved wife Tabitha after my just debts & charges are paid, all my moveable estate to be at her own absolute dispose forever. also the rise and improvements of the one half of my buildings and lands during her natural life.
  Item As to my daughter Olive Benham now [died], my daughter
 Concurrence Tuttle & Tabitha Bronson they have received the whole of their portions
  Item I give unto my daughter Mabel Munson two pounds Lawful
  Money which with she hath already received will be the full of her portion.
  Item I give & devise unto my son Aron Tuttle & to his heirs & assigns forever the equal
 half of my present home lot the north part thereof to run from the highway at the
 east end to the pond at the west to be of equal width at each end
 and to my son Ephraim Tuttle I give the other half to be divided equally as to quantity.
 And it is my will & I hereby give unto my two sons Aaron & Ephraim the dwelling
 house where they now live & half an acre of land whereon sd house standith to be
 equally divided between them. Item I give & devise onto my son Ephraim Tuttle two acres & an half acre of land at
 the north end of my meadow lying east of my dwelling house between the highways
 to be to him his heirs & assigns forever. Item I give & devise onto my son Samuel Tuttle & to his heirs & assign forever one acre
 at the south end of the last above mention meadow. Also all my wearing apparel
  Item I give and devise onto my son Aron Tuttle & to his heirs & assign forever all the
 remainder of that piece of land above mentioned lying between the highways.
  Item I give & devise onto my two sons Aron & Ephraim & to their heirs and assign
 forever all my land lying at Martins Hill so called to be equally divided
 between them in quantity & quality. Item I give onto my son Ichabod Tuttle twenty pounds lawful money to be paid by my
 two sons Aron & Ephraim. Lastly I constitute & appoint my beloved wife Executrix & my sons Aron & Ephraim Executors of
 this my Last Will & Testament in witness of this will in every part thereof
  I hereonto set my hand & seal this 13th day of August 1792 in presence of James [Manvil] Ezekiel Tuttle
 Daniel [Lovely] Daniel Sherman At a court of probate holden at Woodbury April 20th A.D. 1799 the executors on the last will & testament of Ezekiel Tuttle of Woodbury (lately dec..) appeared in court and exhibited an inventory of sd decd estate & made oath to the truth thereof which is accepted & ordered to be recorded & is as follows, viz. The inventory of the estate of Ezekiel Tuttle decd (viz):

  These certify that the articles contained in the foregoing inventory have been presented to us as the estate of Ezekiel Tuttle decd & by us apprizd at the prices annexed to sd articles -
