 "Dan Tuttle b. 27 Nov 1746, m. Abigail Frisbie. He was in early life a sailor; lived sometime in Wolcott, Conn.; became a blacksmith; removed with his family including his grandson, Ira, to Salisbury, Herkimer Co, NY and engaged in farming; became somewhat noted as a cancer doctor. He died about 1816 in Camden, NY; was called "Uncle Dan" by everybody."
